RESOLU'I'ION NO. 72R- 463
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
M~O ABANDON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING
A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation
Act of 1941 and the Public Service Easement Vacation Law,
Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the Government Code, in con-
nection with a request for vacation and abandonment of certain
real property hereinafter described, subject to the following
conditions:
1. That new public utility and sanitary sewer easements
required for relig~~ent of said utilities and sani-
tary sewer line be dedicated via Tract No. 7802.
2. That the subject abandonment be approved and re-
corded concurrently with the approval and recorda-
tion of Tract No. 7802.
3. That any and all costs to relocate existing utility
facilities and/or sanitary sewer line be done
at no cost to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use an existing dedicated
roadway commonly known as Armando Circle, and a portion of an
existing sanitary sewer easement both located approximately south
of the Riverside Freeway, east of Park Vista Street, as they
may relate to the following described property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, and State of California, to
wit:
Parcel One: All of that certain street shown as
Armando Circle lying within Tract No. 7185, as shown
on a map recorded in Book 268, pages 49 and 50, Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
Parcel Two: A nortion of that certain easement for the
installation and-maintenance of a sanitary sewer line
described in deed recorded November 17, 1969, in Book
9139, pages 451 through 453, records of said Orange
Coun.ty, being a s-trir,> of land 10 feet wide lying wi-thin
the above mentioned street known as Armando Circle and
Lot 3 of Tract 7185, as sho\~ on a map recorded in Book
268, pages 49 and 50, Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, the centerline of said strip is
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the westerly line of Armando
Street, 64 feet wide, as shown on a map of Tract 6843,
recorded in Book 256, pages 9 and 10, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County, said point being
distant N 80 14' 10" W, 24.00 feet from the southerly
terminus of said westerly line; thence S 810 48' 04" W,
547.49 fee.t; thence S 8011' 56" E, 100.38 feet; thence
S 280 33' 17" W, 84.24 feet, thence S 610 26' 43" E,
141.46 feet to the point of terminus of the centerline
herein described.

and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941 and the Public Service Easement Vacation
Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the Govermnent Code,
subject to the conditions hereinabove stated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hearing
of all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and abandomnent has been fixed on the 31st day of
October , 1972 i at 1: 30 0' clock P .~i. in the Council Chamber in
the City Hall in the City of &,aheim.
NqD BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the
Anaheim Bulletin, a newsnaper of general circulation, printed,
published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
