for the improvement and any portion of any street or alley which
may be contained therein.

F".ECTICIN 4. The An�heim Daily Herald, a. ne of
general circulation, pr _ and. circulated in ceid
City, is hereby designated as the daily newspaper published in
said City in rrhich the Street Superintendent►s notice of the
passage of this resolution shall be published.
The Street Superintendent of said City shall cause to
be conspicuously posted alonp, the line of said contemplated work
and improvement, notices of the passage of this Resolution of
Int the manner and form reouired by law. He shall also
cause a notice similar in substance to be - ,published for a period
of ten days in said nei�spaper published and circulated in said
City.
SECTION 5. The herein proposed work and. improvement
shall be done in pursuance to an Act of the Legislature of the
State of California,, entitled "An Act to provide for layinF out,
opening, extendinp- widening, straightening or closing up, in
whole or in part, any street, square, lane, alley, court or place
within municipalities and to condemn and. Fcquire any and all land

and property necess or convenient for that purpose, approved
.,larch 6, 1889, and all acts amendatory thereof and supplementary
thereto.
