A RESOLUTION OF THE CITyq:OUNCIL OP THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DETE~INING THt NECESSITY FOR, AND
DIREC'PING THE ACQUIS. I'fION ~BY EMINENT DOMAIN
OF REAL PROPERTY FOR HIGmfAY EASEMENT AND
PUBLtC OT ILI'l'Y PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, public convenien~e and necessity require
the acquisition of certain real pro~rty within the City of
Anaheim for the following purposes ,to wit: highway easement
and public utility purposes; and !
WHEREAS, the City counci1~doeS find and determine that
public interest and necessity requi ethe acquisition of all that
real property herein described, by City of Anaheim for high-
way easeient and public utility purposes.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that public int~est and necessity require
the acquisition of the following de~ibed real propjarq, to wit:
An easement for highway and pub~ic utility 'purposes
over, under and across the southerly 19 feet of the
northerly 34 feet of the east 108 feet Cf the west
123 feet of the east half of the north half of the
north half of the northwest qualt"ter of ~e southwest
quarter of Section 14, Township 4 South, Range 11
West, S. B. B. & M. in the Rancho Los Coyotes as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 51, Pflge 11 of Mise,ellane~us
Maps, Records of Orange County, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that: the City Council find,
and it does hereby find and determine, that public interest and
necessity require the acquisition of said property by the City
of Anaheim for the aforesaid purposes, and that the taking of
the pro~rty hereinabove described is necessary therefor, and
that the uses to which it is to be put are uses authorized by
law, and the taking of said property is necessary to such Uses.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that tqe City Council does
hereby authorize the acquisition of said property by the Ci~y
of Anaheim, and the City Attorney of the City.of Anaheitn is
hereby directed to institute an acti~n in emi~nt domain tor
the acquisition of the title to said property, and to perform and
carry out all of the necessary proceedings and steps incident
to the acquisition of the title to said property, including the
right to immediate possession thereof.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 3rd day of October, 1972.
