Section 1. That the public interest and convenienee
require and the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, pursu-
ant to ResolutAn of Intention ITo. 177 of the Board of Trustees,
of the City of Anaheim, which said Resolution of Intention lyo.
177 was duly passed and adopted. by said Board of Trustees on the
10th day of January, 1924, hereby orders the following described
street work to be done in said City, to- ?grit;
And in said Resolution of Intention made the expenses
of said work and irnr chargeable upon a district, -, Pich

saU Resolution of Intention is hereby referred to for a descrip-
tion of the ivork and improvement and the assessment district, and
all other matters concerninp- said work and improvement.
Section 2. It is further hereby determined and declared
in pursuance of said Resolution of Intention 1 177

13 Section 4. The City Clerk of the City of Anaheirq is
14 11 hereby directed to post conspicuously for five days, on or near
is i the chamber door of the Board of Trustees of said City of Anaheim
16 11 a notice of said zrork inviting sealed proposals or bids and copie
ii
17 f of all specifications hereinbefore mentioned; he is also directed
18 to cause a co of said notice to be published twice in the
19 Anaheim Daily Herald, a daily nenTspaper of general circulation,
20 printed, published and circu;ated in said City, which said news-
21 I paper is hereby designated for that purpose.
22 Said notice shall invite sealed- proposals or bids for
23 doing the cork ordered and shall - refer to the specifications
24 posted and. on file, which said notice shall require all proposals
2s or bids offered to be accompanied by a, check payable to the City
26 of Anaheim, certified by a responsible bank for an a wh,ich
shall not be less than ten per cent of the aggregate of the prop-

28 j j osal or bjr a bond for the said amount, so payable, signed by the
29 bidder and two sureties who shall justify before any officer
competent to administer an oath, in double the said amount and
Dver and above all statutory exemptions.
