4 = DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE INSTALLATION OF ORNAMENTAL
STREET LIGHTS IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.

SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience
require and that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of

Said work shall be done in accordance with the plans
and specifications therefor, which said plans were adopted by the
Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, by resolution, on the
13th day of December, 1923, and are numbered 32, sheets 1 to 5,
and are marked and designated tPlan of proposed ornamental light
installation on North Los Angeles Street and South Los Angeles
Street, East Center Street and West Center Street and Lincoln
Avenue,- Anaheim, California." and in accordance with said
specifications which were adopted by the Board of Trustees of the
City of Anaheim on the 13th day of December; 1923, and are on
file in the office of the City Engineer, and which specifica-
tions are marked and designated "Specifications for the installa-
tion of ornamental street lights for the City of Anaheim." and
are on file in the office of the City Clerk.
SECTION 2. Notice is hereby given that on Thursday,
the 18th day of January, 1924, at the hour of eight otclock P.M.,
at the chamber of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim,
in the City Hall Building at No. 204 East Center Street, in said
City, any and all persons having objections to the proposed work
or improvement may appear before the Board of Trustees of the Cit

of Anaheim and show cause why said proposed work or improvement
should not be carried out in accordance with this resolution. j
SECTION 3. That said. Board of Trustees hereby further
determines that seri.sk bonds shall be issued to represent assess-
ments of $25.00 or over, for the cost andlexpenses of said work
and improvement; that said serial bonds shall extend over a perk
of nine years from the 2nd day of January next succeeding their

date and an even annaul proportion of the principal sum thereof
shall be payable, by coupon, on the 2nd day of January every
year after their date, until the whole is paid, and th, interest
shall be payable semi - annually, by coupon, on the 2nd day of
January and July, respectively, of each year at the rate of
seven per cent per annum on all sums unpaid until the whole of
said princip*j and interest are paid.

provisions of at Act of the Legislature of the State of Calif-
ornia entitled ` "An Act to provide for"work in and upon streets,
avenues, lanes, alleys, courts,'places and sidewalks within
municipalities and upon property and rights of way owned by
municipalities and for establishing and changing the grades of
any such streets, avenues, lanes, alleys, courts, places and
sidewalks, and providing for the issuance and payment of street
improvement bonds to represent certain assessments for the cost
thereof, and providing a method for the payment of such bonds,tl
approved April,?, 1911, and all acts amend4tory thereof.
SECTION 4. The is here-
by designated as the newspaper printed, published and circulated
in said City,in which this resolution shall be published.
The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim is hereby direct-
ed to publish this resolution by two successive insertions in
said newspaper, I and to post the same for two days conspicuously
on or near the chamber door of the Board of Trustees of said City

17i thereof and providing a method for the payment of such bonds,"
18 �� approved April 7, 1911 and all acts amendatory thereof.
19 i SECTION 5. Insofar as said work of erecting, construct
20 ing and installing said ornamental Light standards, fixtures, and

21 equipment involves and uses patented or patented pro- -
22 f cesses, said work shall be done in accordance with the terms and
23 j� conditions set forth in the licensed agreement entered into by
i
24 the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim and the holder of
25 fthose certain United States Letters patent involved in said work,
26 which agreement is marked "License Agreement B ", is on file in the
i
27 office of the City Clerk of said City of Anaheim, and hereby re-
28 ferred to for further particulars.

RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE INSTALLA-
TION OF ORNAMENTAL STREET LIGHTS IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the City of
Anahe im:
Section 1. That those certain specifications marked,
designated and entitled "Specifications for ornamental light
installation for the City of Anaheim," being ,Specifications No.
31, on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Anaheim, and those certain plans marked and designated " Plan
of proposed ornamental light installation on North Los Angeles
Street and South Los Angeles Street, East Center Street and
Nest Center Street and Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California,"
being Plans No. 32, on file in the office of the City Engineer
of the City of Anaheim, be and the same are hereby approved and
adopted for the work therein described.
The foregoing resolution is signed, approved and
attested by -me this 13th day of December, 1923.
