RESOLUTION NO. 72R- 434

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
DISTRICT AGREEMENT NO. 2934 WITH THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA. (SIGNALIZATION - STATE COLLEGE
AND SOUTH STREET)
WHEREAS, the State of California has submitted to the
City, District Agreement No. 2934 providing for the installation
of traffic control signal system and safety lighting at the
intersection of South Street with State Highway Route 250 (State
College Boulevard), upon the terms and conditions and for the
proportionate share of the costs therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and in the best interests of the City to enter into
said agreement with the State and that the same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said District Agreement No. 2934 sub-
rnitted to the City by the State of California, Department of
Public Works, Division of Highways, providing for the i.nstallation
of traffic control signal system and safety lighting at the
intersection of South Street with State Highway Route 250 (State
College Boulevard) upon the terms and conditions and for the
proportionate share of the costs therein set forth be, and the
same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 26th day of September , 1972.
