04/19/1923-032RESOLUTION 1N RE: GASOLINE TAX
AND MOTOR VEHICLE FUND
RESOLVED, that it is the sense of the council
of the Of _s_� that
in case a law be enacted to impose a tax on gasoline,
one-third of the revenue therefrom should be distributed
to the municipalities and the other lb between the
counties and the state, also that the motor vehicle fund
be likewise distributed, both of said funds to be used in
all cases exclusively for improving or repairing main
streets or highways forming part of the state or county
system;
RESOLVED, that a copy of these resolutions be
sent to the press and another copy to our Senator and
assemblyman at Sacramento.
RESOLUTION 1N RE: LICENSES
RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the

our representatives in the legislature be, and they
are hereby requested to oppose the passage of Assem-
bly Bills Nos. 529 and 649, and any other bills de-
signed to limit or prohibit the imposition of licen-
ses by municipalities.
