RESOLUTION OF INTENTION N 0. ��-- A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING OF CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE ROAD --WkY OF WALNUT STREET, NORTH CITRON STRXFT, NORTH AND SOUTH HELENA STREET, NORTH ZEYN STREET, AND EAST AND WEST SYCAMORE STREET, IV SAID CITY. Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the city of Anaheim: SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience require and that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim to order the following described street work to be done in said city, to -wit: That the roadway of Walnut Street from the southerly property line of West Center Street produced westerly across the roadway of said Walnut Street to the northerly property line of Pest Broadway Street produced westerly across the roadway of said Walnut Street (excepting therefrom that portion of the roadway of Walnut Street lying between a line extended from the point of intersection of the easterly property line of Walnut Street and the northerly property line of West the stnut Street to the center line of the roadway of said Walnut Street and at right angles thereto and a line extended from the point of intersection of the easterly property line of Walnut Street and the southerly property line of West Chestnut Street to the center line of Walnut Street and at right angles thereto); That the roadway of North Helena Street from the south, erly property line of Pest Cypress Street produced westerly across the roadway of said North Helena Street to a line parallel to and distant northerly at right angles 44.75 feet from the center line of Pest Center Street (excepting therefrom that portion of the roadway of North Helena Street lying between the northerly property line of West Chartres Street produced westerly across the roadway of said North Helena Street and the southerly property line of said Chartres Street produced westerly across the roadway of said North Helena Street); That the roadway of North Zeyn Street from the northerly property line of West Sycamore Street produced westerly across the roadway of said North Zeyn Street to the southerly property line of West North Street produced westerly across the roadway of said Worth Zeyn Street (excepting therefrom that portion of the roadway of said North Zeyn Street lying between the northerly property line of West Wilhelmina Street produced westerly across the roadway of said North Zeyn street to the southerly property line of West Wilhelmina Street produced westerly across the road- way of said North Zeyn Street, and that portion of the roadway of North Zeyn Street lying between the northerly property line of West Alberta Street produced westerly across the roadway of said North Zeyn Street and the southerly property line of West Alberta Street produced westerly across the roadway of said North Zeyn Street); That the roadway of Fast Sycamore Street from the westerly property line of North Olive Street produced northerly to the center line of the roadway of said East Sycamore Street and from the northerly property line of North Olive Street produced southerly to the center line of the roadway of said East Sycamore Street to the easterly property line of North Los Angeles Street produced.northerly across the roadway of said East Sycamore Street (excepting therefrom that portion of the roadway of East Sycamore Street lying between the easterly property line of North Phila- delphia Street' produced northerly to the center line of the road- way of said Fast Sycamore Street and the westerly property line of North Philadelphia Street produced northerly to the center line of the roadway of said East Sycamore Street, and that portion of the roadway of East Sycamore Street lying between the easterly M-11 1 2 � 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28- 29 30 31 32 property line of North Philadelphia Street produced southerly t the center line of the roadway of said East Sycamore Street and the westerly property line of 'North Philadelphia Street produced south to the center line of the roadway of said East Sycamore Street, and that portion of the roadway of Fast Sycamore Street lying between easterly property line of North Emily Street produced northerly to the center line of the roadway of said East Sycamore Street and the westerly property line of North Emily Street produced northerly to the center line of the roadway of East Sycamore Street , and that portion of the roadway of Fast Sycamore Street lying between the easterly property line of North Claudina Street produced southerly to the center line of the road- way of East Sycamore Street and the westerly property line of Forth Claudina Street produced southerly to the center line of the roadway of said Fast Sycamore Street, and that portion of the roadway of Fast Sycamore Street lying between the easterly property line of North rlaudina Street produced northerly to the center line of the roadway of said East Sycamore Street and the westerly property line of North Claudina Street produced norther- ly to the center line of the roadway of said East Sycamore Street) ; That the roadway of West Sycamore Street from the west- erly property line of North Los Angeles Street produced northerly across the roadway of said West Sycamore Street to the easterly property line of North Lemon Street produced northerly across the roadway of said West Sycamore Street (excepting therefrom that portion of the roadway of West Sycamore Street lying between the easterly property line of North Zeyn Street produced southerly to the center line of the roadway of said Sycamore Street and the westerly property line of North Zeyn Street produced southerly to the center line of the roadway of said West Sycamore Street); be graded to the official grade and paved with asphaltic concrete base and with asphaltic concrete wearing surface. -4- M1 t 1 2 3 4 5 '6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 Said work shall be done in accordance with the plans, profiles and specifications therefor, which plans and profiles were adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, by resolution on the 15th day of March, 1923 and are numbered 28, 24, 19, 20, 2 and�are marked and designated "Plan of proposed improvement on Walnut Street," "Plan of proposed improvement on North Citron Street," Plan of proposed improvement on North and South Helena Street," and "Plan of proposed improvement on Vorth Zeyn Street, /l and are on file in the office of the City Engineer of said City, and which said specifications were adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim on the 8th, day of March, 1923, and are marked and designated as number 29, "For the con- struction of street paving; with asphaltic concrete base, and asphaltic concrete wearing surface." SECTIOV 0. Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, the 12th day of April, 1923, .at the hour of eight o'clock P. Y., at the chamber of the Roard of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, at Room One in the Masonic Temple Ruilding at No. 255 East Center Street, in said city, any and all persons having objections to the proposed work or it ^provement may appear before the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim and show cause why said proposed work and improvement should not be carried out in accordance with this resolution. SECTION 3. That 'said Roard of Trustees hereby further determines that serial bonds shall be issued to represent assess- ments of $25.00 or over, for the cost and expenses of said work and improvement; that said serial bonds shall extend over a period of nine years from the second day of January, next succeeding their date and an even annual proportion of the principal sum- thereof shall be payable, by coupon, on the 2nd day of January every year after their date, until the whole is paid, and the interest shall be payable semi - annually, bq coupon, on the 2nd day of January, and July, respectively, of each year at the rate -5- 1 of seven per cent per annum on all sums unpaid until the whole of 2 i p rincipal and interest are raid. sa d p p _ 3 Said bonds shall be issued under and by virtue of the 4 provisions of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California, 5 entitled "An Act to provide for work in and upon streets, avenues, 6 lanes, alleys, courts, places and sidewalks within municipalities 7 and upon property and rights of way owned br municipalities, and 8 for establishing and changing the grades of any such streets, � i 9 avenues, lanes, alleys,. courts, places and sidewalks, and provid- 10 ing for the issuance and payment of street improvement bonds to 11 represent certain assessments for the cost thereof,and providing 12 a method for the payment of such bonds," approved April 7, 1911 13 and all acts amendatory thereof . 14 SECTION 4. The Orange County Plain Dealer is hereby 15 dead - knated as the newspaper printed, published and circulated in 16 said city in which this resolution shall be published. 17 The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim is hereby directed 18 to publish this resolution by two successive insertions in said 19 newspaper, and to post the same for two days conspicuously on 20 or near the charnber door of the Poard of Trustees of said City of 21 Anahe 22 The Street Superintendent shall immediately cause to be 23 conspicuously posted alone the line of said contemplated work or 24 improvement and in front of all the r..roperty liable to be assessed 25 notice of the passage of this Resolution of Intention ^ in the 26 manner and form required by law. 27 All of the herein proposed work and improvement and all 28 proceedings taken in regard thereto shall be in pursuance of and 29 in accordance with an Act of the Legislature of the State of 30 California, entitled "An Act to provide for work in and upon 31 streets, avenues, lanes, alleys, courts, places and sidewalks 32 within municipalities and upon property and rights of way owned 6- 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 by municipalities, and for establishing and changing the grades of any such streets, avenues, lanes, alleys, courts, places and side - walks, and providing for the issuance and payment of street im- prcvement bonds to represent certain assessments for the cost thereof, and providing a method for the payment of such bonds," approved April 7, 1311, and all acts amendatory thereof.
