RESOLVED BY T1 BOARD OF TPUSTEES OF TrE CITY OF AtvAREIY:
SECTION 1. That the interest and convenience
require and the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, pursuant
to R °solution of Intention ??o. 171 of the Board_ of Trustees of the
City of Anaheim, which said Resolution of intention No. 171 was
duly passed and ado��ted- by said Board of Trustees on the 15th day
of ;,arch, 1023, hereby orders the following described street work
to be done in said city, to- twit:
That that certain alley running east-
erly and westerly 'through Blocks "H"
and "I ", Subdivision of Vineyard Lot
D6, as shown on the map recorded in
Book 17, Page 72, of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, Cali-
fornia, from the westerly property line
of North Clementine Street, in said

fications were adopted by the Board
of Trustees of the City of Anaheim on
10 e the 8th day of September, 1921, and
are marked and designated "Specifl-
cations Number 27, for the construe•
tion of street paving with hydraiille
11 concrete, in the City of Anaheim, Cai
ifornia,” and are on file in the office
9 of the City Clerk.
12 SECTION 2. All of the herein proposed work and improve -
13 ment and all proceedings taken in regard thereto shall be in pur-
14 suance of and in accordance with an Act of the Legislature of the
15 State of California, entitled, "An Act to ?provide for work in and
16 upon streets, avenues, lanes, alleys, courts, places and sidewalks
17 within municipalities and upon - property and. rights of way owned by
18 municipalities and for establishing and changing; the grades of any
19 such streets, avenues, lanes, alleys, courts, places and side -
20 walks, and. providing for the issuance and payment of street improv
21 rrent bonds to represent certain assessments for the cost thereof
22 and providing a method for the payment of such bonds," approved

23 April 7, 1211, and all acts amendatory thereof. �

24 SECTION 3. The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim is
25 hereby directed to post conspicuously for five days, on or near
26 the chamber door of the Board of Trustees of said City of Anaheim,
27 a notice of said Mork inviting sealed proposals or bids and a
28 copy of specificat -ions No. 27, adopted by the Board of Trustees of
29 the said City of Anaheim on the 8th day of September, 1921; he is
30 also directed to cause a copy of said notice to be twice
31 in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a daily newspaper of general
32 circulation, printed, published and circulated in said city,
which said newspaper is hereby designated for that purpeee.

Said notice shall invite sealed proposals or bids for
doing the work ordered and shall refer to the specifications post-
ed and on file, which said notice shall require all proposals or
bid.s offered to be accompanied by a check, payable to the City of
Anaheim, certified by a responsible bank for an amount which shall
not be less than ten per cent of the aggregate of the proposal or
by a bond for the said amount, so payable, signed by the bidder and
two sureties who shall justify before any officer competent to
adrginister an oath, in double the said amount and over and above
all statutory exemptions.
Thursday, the 10th day of TdTay, 1923, is hereby designat-
ed and fixed as the day on trihich, up to the hour of eight o'clock
P. 1,1 , the said oroposals or bids shall be rectived,and the maid
notices shall. so specify.
The foregoing resolution was signed, attested and
