A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD rF TRUSTEES OF THE, CITY OF AVAHEIM,
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING OF CERTAIN ALLEYS IN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
Resolved by the Roard of Trustees of the City of Anaheim:,
SECTION 1.That the - public interest and convenience require and the
it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anahei
to order the following described street work to be done in said

That that certain alley running easterly and westerly
through Plocks "H" and "I ", Subdivision of Vineyard Lot D5, as
shown on the map recorded in Rook 17, Page 72, of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California, from the westerly
property line .of North Clementine Street, in said city, produced
northerly across said alley to the easterly property line of North
Helena Street, in said city, produced northerly across said alley,
and from the westerly property line of North Helena Street, in
said city, produced northerly across said alley to the easterly
property line of Ptorth Palm Street, in said city, rroduced north-
erly across said alley;
That that certain 20 -foot alley running northerly and
southerly through a portion of Rlock "A ", Center Tract, as shown
on a map recorded in Rook 14, Page 13, Miscellaneous Records of
Los Angeles County, California, from the northerly property line
of East Broadway produced easterly across said alley to the south-
erly property line of the northerly alley running easterly and
westerly through said Pl ock "A" produced easterly across said
alley;

recorded in Rook 14, Page 13, Miscellaneous Records of Los

Angeles County, '' alifornia, fron the southerly property lire of
the northerly alley through said Block "R" produced westerly across
said alley to the northerly property line of the southerly alley
through said Block "R" produced westerly across said alley;
That that certain nine -foot alley running easterly and
westerly through Block "E ", Resubdivision of Block "A ", Vineyard
Lot D3, as shown on a map recorded in Rook 28, Page 63, Mis-
cellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, the souther-
ly property line of which is 133.5 feet northerly from and parallel
to the northerly property line of East Center Street and extending
from the westerly property line of North Olive Street produced
northerly across said alley to the easterly property line of North
Philadelphia Street produced northerly across said alley;
That that certain 15 -foot alley running easterly and
westerly through Rick "F ", Subdivision of Vineyard Lot D3, as
shown on a map recorded in Rook 34, Page 592, of Deeds, Records
of
Los Angeles County, California, the
southerly line
of which is
120
feet northerly from and parallel to
the northerly
property
line of East Center Street and extending from the westerly property
line of 'North Philadelphia Street produced northerly across said
alley to the easterly property lire of North Emily Street produc-
ed northerly across said alley; and
That that certain 12 -foot alley running easterly and
westerly tl=gh Block "G ", Subdivision of Vineyard Lot D3, as shown
on a map recorded in Rook 34, Page 592, of Deeds, Records of Los
Angeles County, California, the southerly line of which is 91 feet
northerly from and parallel to the northerly property line of East
Center Street and extending from the westerly property line of
'North Emily Street produced northerly across said alley to the
easterly property line of North Claudina Street produced norther-
ly across said alley,
be graded to the official grade and paved with hydraulic concrete.

Said work shall be done in accordance with the plans,
profiles and specifications therefor, which said plans and
profiles are numbered nine, fifteen and twenty six, respectively,
and are marked and designated " Plan of proposed improvement
on that.certain northerly and. southerly alley in Block "A",
Center Tract ", "Plan of proposed improvement on that certain
easterly and westerly alley in Blocks "H" and"I ", Vineyard
Lot D5 " Plan of proposed improvement on that certain
northerly and southerly alley in Block "B ", Center Tract," and
"Plan of proposed improvement on that certain easterly and
westerly alley in Blocks "E", "F ", and "G", Vineyard Lot D3" ,
respectively, which said plans and profiles were adopted.by the
Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim by resolution on the
15th day of March, 1923, and are on file in the office of the
City Engineer in said city, and which specifications were
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim on the
Ss //.1 f9z/
8th day of i, 1005, and are marked and designated
"Specifications Number 27, for the construction of street
paving with hydraulic concrete, in the City of Anaheim,
California."
SECTION 2. Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, the
12th day of April, 1923, at the hour of eight o'clock P. M.
at chamber of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim,
at Room One in the Masonic Temple Building at No. 255 East
Center Street, in said city, any and all persons having
objections to the proposed work or improvement may appear
before the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim and show
cause why said proposed work and improvement should not be
carried out in accordance with this resolution.
SECTION 3. The Orange County Plain Dealer is hereby
designated as the newspaper printed, published and circulated

in said city in which this resolution shall be published.
The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim is hereby
directed to publish this resolution by two successive
insertions in said newspaper, and to post the same for two days
conspicuously on or near the chamber door of the Board of
Trustees of said City of Anaheim.
The Street Superintendent shall immediately cause to be
conspicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work
or improvement and in front of all the property liable to be
assessed, notice of the passage of this resolution of
intention'in the

manner and form required by law.
All of the herein proposed work and improvement and all
proceedings taken in regard thereto shall be in pursuance of and
in accordance with an Act of the Legislature of the State of
California, entitled "An Act to provide for work in and upon
streets, avenues, lanes, alleys, courts, places and sidewalks
within municipalities and upon property and rights of way owned
by municipalities, and for establishing and changing the grades of
any such streets, avenues, lanes, alleys, courts, places and side-
walks, and providing for the issuance and payment of street im-
provement bonds to represent certain assessments for the cost
thereof, and providing a method for the payment of such bonds,"
approved April 7, 1911, and all acts amendatory thereof.
The foregoing Resolution of Intention is signed,
approved and attested by me this 15th day of March, 1923.
