IN THE MATTER OF CLOSING UP AND ABANDONING AN 18 -FOOT ALLEY 2N THE SCEVIC TRACT, AND ALSO THE 'O PENING AND EXTENDING OF A 15- FOOT ALLEY IAA SAID SCENIC TRACT . RESOLUTION OVFRRULING PROTESTS RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM: That whereas, on the 28th day of December, 1922, the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim duly passed and adopted a resolution of intention entitled: "A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim declaring its intention to order the closing up and abandoning of an 18 -foot alley running north- erly and southerly through the Scenic Tract and extending from the northerly property line of West La Verne Street to the south, erly property line of West La Palma Street, and the opening and extending of a 15. -foot alley through Lots 1 and 2, Scenic Tract, from the northerly property line of West La Verne Street to the northerly line of said Lot 2, the easterly line of said 15 -foot alley being 109.16 feet at right angles westerly froma and parallel to the westerly line of North Lemon Street," being Resolution of Intention Igo. 169, which said resolution was approved by the President of the Board of Trustees of said City of Anaheim on said 28th day of December, 1922, and Whereas, after the adoption of said resolution, notice thereof was duly caused to be published and posted by the Super- intendent of St rest p, in form and manner and in all respects as required by law, and Whereas, after the publication and posting of notice of said Resolution of Intention, and within the time specified by law, J. H. Po*611 and F. R. Roberts, persons interested in said work, filed their written objections to said work, which objec- tions were filed in the office of the City Clerk of said city on the 27th day January, 1923, and -1- I i 1 Whereas, said written objections were at the next 2 meeting of said Board of Trustees laid before said Board of . Trustees by the Clerk of said city, and 4 'Whereas, said Board of Trustees thereupon fixed Friday, 5 the 23rd day of February, 1923 at the hour of eight o'clock 6 P. V., at the chamber of the Board of Trustees of said city, in 7 Room One in the Masonic Temple Building, at No. 255 East Center 8 Street, in the City of .Anaheim, California, as the time and 9 place for hearing said objections, and said objections coming 10 on now regularly to be heard, and it appearing that notice of 11 said hearing was duly given said d0jectors, in all respects as 12 required by law, and said object &rs now being personally present 13 and the matter of said objections being laid before and being 14 duly considered by said Board of Trustees, said Board of 15 Trustees now finds that said objections are without merit. 16 Therefore, be it resolved by the Board of Trustees: 17 Section 1. That said objections, and both of them, are 18 hereby overruled. 19 Section 2. That all acts and things required by law 20 to be done to vest said Board of Trustees with jurisdiction to 21 order the doing of said work have been done and complied with. 22 Section 3.
