That the public interest and also the public convenience require and that it is the intention of the Roard cf Trustees of the 11 ity of Anaheim to order the folloixrir�, L, — described street - work to be done in said city, to wit: That a certain 2G-foot alley 41ong and adjoining the northe rly line of Smith & Dean's Pesubdivioion, as shown on a' map recorded in Rook 4, Page 31, of Yiscellane-ous TTars Records of Orange County, California, be closed up in y)art. SECTION 2. That the land deemed necessary to be taken therefor and that portion of said alley, herein proposed to be closed up, is situate in said City of Anaheim and is described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the Vorthilvest corner of Lot 72, Smith & Dean's Resubdivision, as shown on a nap recorded in Rook 4, Page 31, Miscellaneous wars, Pecords of Orange County, California, and running thence northerly along the westerly line of said Lot 32 extended north-,rly 20 feet; thence easterly parallel with the northerl line .of Lots 32 and 22 of said subdivision 300 feet, more or leis, to the extended easterly line of said Lot '2 thence southerly along said extended easterl 'line 20 feet to the northeasterly corner of said Lot 22; thence .�resterly along the northerly lines of said Lots 22 and 32 and their extensions -1- 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 IFAI 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 300 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, excepting therefrom the portion included between the easterly line of said Lot 72 extended northerly and the westerly line of said Lot 22 extended northerly. 3r,0ITT(ITM 3. That- the exterior boundaries of the district of lands to be affected and benefited by said work and improve - ment and to be assessed to pay the danages, costs and expenses thereof, which district is within the said city of Anaheim, are particularly described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at the northwesterly corner of Bloc. "A" of the Hotel Del Campo Tract, as shorn on a map thereof recorded in Rook 24, Page 69, miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, and running thence easterly along the north- erly line of said Block "A" 300 feet more or less to the north - easterly corner thereof; thence southerly along the easterly line of said Block "A" and the easterly line of Smith & Dean's Resubdivision, as shown on a map recorded in Rook 4, Page 31, Miscellaneous 111ays, Pecords of ?range County, "alifornia, 593.00 feet more or less to the southeasterly corner of Lot 13 of said Smith & Dean's Resi;��division; thence westerly along the souther - ?y line of Lots 13 and 23 of said Smith & Dean's Resubdivision 300 feet more or less to the southwesterly corner of said Lot 23; thence northerly along the wostsrly line of said Smith & Dean's Resubdivision and the westerly line of said Block "A" 593.00 feet more or less to the point of beginning; and except - ing any land within said boundaries which is now a part of a public street or alley. Excepting therefrom any land within said boundaries contained which is now a part of a public street or alley, and excepting that portion of said alley herein proposed to be closed up and which is more particularly described in section Two hereof. 7ECTIOV 4. The Orange County Plain Dealer, a daily newspaper of general circulation, printed, -published and eircula ed in said city, is hereby designated as the daily newspaper published and circulated in saif?. city in which the Street Super- intendant' s notice of the :nassa�;e of this resolution shall be -2- 1 published. 2 The Street Sunerint,endent of said city shall cause to 3 be conspicuously posted along the line of said contemr-.3-ated work 4 and improvement, notices of the passage of this Resolution of '5 Tntention in the manner and form required by law. He shall also 6 cause a notice similar in substance to be published for a period 7 of ten days in said newspaper, published and circulated in said 8 city. 9 I-FOTION 6.
