AND RFVF,NT?F OF SAID YUVICIPALITY. The Roard of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, as the legislative branch thereof, does hereby determine and resolve as follows: SECTION 1. That the public interest and also the public necessity demands the construction and completion of a certain municipal. improvement by the city of Anaheim, to -wit: the con -ple- tion of the public park in said city comronly known as "Anaheim Park ", including the installation and planting thereon of trees, flowers, lawns and shrubbery, and the installation, construction and completion of the walks, drives, parkings and other i#iprove- ments necessary or ironer for a municipal ?park, including such improvements in aid of rublic recreation as are permitted to said City of Anaheim under the laws of the State of California. The construction and completion of said municipal ment is necessary and convenient in order to carry out the objects, purposes and rowers of the City of Anaheim in 'providing for the health and comfort of the citizens of said city. The cost of said municipal improvement is estimated to be the sum of One Hundred Thousand 0100, Dollars, and is and will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual in- come and revenue of said City of Anaheim. SECTION 2. That the public interest and also the rublic necessity demands the construction and completion by the City of Anaheim of a municipal irmrovement, to -wit: street work, consist- ing of grading and raving of certain street intersections in said city, to -wit: the intersection of Snuth West Street and Chestnut Street, the intersection of North Citron Street and West Chartres -1- 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 01 Me 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 Street, the intersection of South Palm Street and ('hestnut Street ' the intersection of South Palr, Stru=t and yak Street, the inter- section of North Palm Street and West lhartres Street, the inter- section of North Helena Street and West Chartres Street, the intersection of South Helena. Street and Oak Street, the inter- section of South Helena Street and Chestnut Street, the inter- section of South Helena Street and Third Ruth Street, the inter- section of North Zeyn Street and West Sycamore Street, the inter- section of North Zeyn Street and West Alberta Street,, the inter - section. of North Zeyn Street and Test 'Tilhelmina Street, the intersection of Fast Sycamore Street and North Philadelphia Stree the intersection of Fast Sycamore Street and Emily Street, the intersection of East Sycamore Street and North Claudina Street, and the re- surfacing of certain parts of Lincoln Avenue. between North West Street and the westerly boundary line of said city. The construction of said street ;pork is necessary and .convenient in order to carry out the objects, purposes and mowers' of the city of Anaheim. The cost of said street rork is estimated at Fifteen Thousand ( *15,000.00) Dollars, and is and will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income and revenue of said city. SECTION 3. That the public interest and also the public necessity demands the acquisition, construction and completion of the necessary equipment for the lighting, by means of ornament al electric lights, of the following streets in said city, to- arit: North Los Angeles Street between lynress Street and La 'Palma Street, South Los Angeles Street between Rroadway Street an Rroad Street, North Lemon Street between 'hest Center Street and Rest North Street, Test "enter Street between Ilementine Street and Adams Street, Fast renter Street between South Philadelphia Street and the easterly boundary line of said city, and Lincoln Avenue from North hest Street to the westerly boundary line of of said city. Said city is to pay one - fourth (1/4) of the cost of said municipal improvement, the balance of said coat is to be paid by owners of real property abutting on said streets, and said one - fourth of said cost to be paid b said city is estimated at Twenty Thousand ( Dollars, which amount is and will be too great to be raid out of the ordinary annual income and revenue of said !lity of Anaheim. 8FITtnm 4. That the public interest and also the public necessity demands the completion by the lity of Anaheim of a certain municipal improvement, to -wit: the completion of a certain building in the lity of Anaheim for municipal uses, containing offices for city officials, a room or chamber for the holding of meetings of the Roard of Trustees, and other officials, boards, and tribunals of said city, rooms for the housing and safekeeping of prisoners of said city, to be used for the purpose of a city jail,, and rooms and quarters for the housing of fire apparatus of said city, and for the necessary accommodations of members of its fire department. That the completion of said building is necessary and convenient in order to carry out the objects, purposes and rovers of the lity of Anaheir. That the cost of said completion of said building; is estimated at Forty Thousand (040,000.00) Dollars, and is and will be too great to be maid out of the ordinary annual income and revenue of said city of Anaheim.
