A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO GENERAL
PLAN AMENDMENT NO. l23-A, ADOPTING A ZONING
ELEMENT AND REVISED LAND USE AND DENSITY ELE-
MENT AND INCREASING THE AREA COVERED.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the recom-
mendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing, upon due and proper notice,
and received evidence, reports and testimony, both oral and
written, upon an amendment to said General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
adopt General Plan Amendment No. 123 by Resolution No. 7lR-127,
changing the general description and extent of land uses and
increasing the densities over those projected in the General
Plan adopted by Resolution No. 69R-644 for the Anaheim Hills
community; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
adopt General Plan Amendment No. l23-A by Resolution No. 72R-207
covering approximately 652 acres within the Anaheim Hills
community changing the general description and extent of land
uses and decreasing the densities from those projected in General
Plan Amendment No. 123, adopted by Resolution No. 7lR-127; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in June, 1972, upon due and
proper notice, and received evidence, reports and testimony, both
oral and written, upon a further amendment to General Plan
Amendment No. l23-Ai and
WHEREAS, following said hearing, the Citr Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC72- 23 containing
a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented
at said hearing, and a recommendation that said further amend-
ment to the General Plan, designated as Amendment No. l23-A, be
adopted by the City Council changing the general description and
extent of land uses in the area covering approximately 4200
acres, generally located south of Santa Ana Canyon Road, east
of the Newport Freeway, and extending easterly beyond Mohler
Drive to Weir Canyon and having a southerly boundary approxi-
mately along the Santa Ana Mountains ridge line in accordance
with Exhibits presented and on file in the City Planning Com-
mission; and

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in August, 1972, upon due and
proper notice, and received evidence, reports and testimony, both
oral and written, upon a further amendment to General Plan
Amendment No. l23-Ai and

WHEREAS, following said hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC72-226, contain-
ing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented
at said hearing and a recommendation that said further amendment
to General Plan Amendment No. l23-A be adopted by the City Council,
adopting a Zoning Element - Exhibit No. 12, and a revised Land
Use and Density Element - Exhibit No. 11, Revision No.1; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolutions, summaries
of evidence, reports of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 12th day of
September, 1972, as the time and the City Council Chamber in the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing
upon said proposed amendments to the General Plan Amendment No.
123-A, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided
by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
amendments to the General Plan, Amendment No. 123-A, changing
the general description and extent of land uses in the area cover-
ing approximately 4200 acres, generally located south of Santa
Ana Canyon Road, east of the Newport Freeway, and extending
easterly beyond Mohler Drive to Weir Canyon, and having a southerly
boundary approximately along the Santa Ana Mountains ridge line
in accordance with Exhibits presented by the land developers, and
adopting a Zoning Element - Exhibit No. 12, and a revised Land
Use Density Element - Exhibit No. 11, Revision No.1, be approved
in accordance with exhibits presented and on file in the City
Planning Division as recommended by the City Planning Commission.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that amendments to the General Plan Amendment
No. l23-A, changing the general description and extent of land uses
in the area covering approximately 4200 acres generally located
south of Santa Ana Canyon Road, east of the Newport Freeway, and
extending easterly beyond Mohler Drive to Weir Canyon, and having
a southerly boundary approximately along the Santa Ana Mountains
ridgeline in accordance with Exhibits presented by the land
developers, and adopting a Zoning Element - Exhibit No. 12, and a
revised Land Use and Density Element - Exhibit No. 11, Revision
No.1, in accordance with exhibits presented and on file in the
City Planning Division, according to the evidence presented and
as recommended by the City Planning Commission, be, and the same
is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to the amendments to General Plan Amendment No. l23-A
herein approved.
