The The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim do ordain as
fo llows;
Whereas, on the l7th day of February# 1922 the Board of
Trustees of the City of Anaheim did pass and adopt its Ordinance
No, 415, entitled:
Which said ordinance was on the 17th day of February, 1922, sign-
ed and approved by the President of the Board of Trustees of the
City of Anaheim, and
WRv,REAS, in pursaance of the provisions of said Ordinance
and of an Act of the legislature of the State of California eu., I
titled, "An act to provide for the alteration of the boundaries
of and for the annexation of territory to muninipsal corporations,
for the incorporation of such annexed territory in and as a part
thereof and for the districting, government and municipal con-
trol of such annexed territory," approved June 11 1913, and all
Bets amendatory thereof and supplementary thereto, notice for
tle holding of said special election was given by pu, li atioan of

1 i a"h notice for four successive weeks in "The Fullerton News ",
2 a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir-
3 oulated within the County of Grange, and outsike of the limits.
4 of the City of Anaheim, which notice set forth the time and the
5 location of the polling place for the holding of said election,
6 the election officers appointed to conduct the same, the proposi-
7 tion to be voted on, and described the territory proposed to be
8 alknexed to the City of Anaheim, and
9 WHEREAS, on Tuesday, the 4th day of April, 1922, within the
10 territory so described and proposed to be annexed to the City of
11 Anaheim, the boundaries of which territory are hereinafter des-
12 cribed, there was held a special election for the purpose of
13 voting upon said proposition, to -wit; "Shall North and East Ad-
14 dition be annexed to the City of Anaheim ?"' and i
15 WHEREAS, for the purpose of holding and conducting such elec-
16 tion one voting precinct was established in said territory where
17 such election was held, which said precinct was designated and
18 denominated as "Special Election Precinct No, 1, and the polling
19 place in said special election Precinct No, 1" Was at the dwell -
20 ing house of A. A. lle, on the northeast corner of the inter -
21 section of North LOO J i e3e's, Street and North Street, in said

That at said species election the total number of votes east
was that there were votes cast at such special
election in favor of the annexation of said territory, and there
were L I votes cast thereat against the annexation of said
torritory to the City of Anaheim, and that the votes oast at
said special election in favor of the annexation of said territory
to said City of Anaheim Constitute a majority of all of the votes
cast at said special election, and it appearing to said Board of
Trustees that said'o *Uat.ion was vali-Vand regularly held, the said
Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim does hereby declare that
by vote the qualified electors of said territory hereinafter
described have voted in favor o f, and to annex to the City of
Anaheim, the said territory, which is described as follows, to-
wit:

The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim i s hereby directed to
enter upon the minutes of the meeting of said Board at which this
resolution is adopted a record of the canvass of the votes cast
at said special election, stating the proposition submitted at
said special election and showing the whole number of votes cast
at said special election, the number of votes cast in favor of
each annexation of said territory herein described to the City of
Anaheim, and the number of votes east against such annexation.
The foregoing resolution is signed, approved and attested
