RESOLUTION NO. 72R- 355
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A SETTLEMENT WITH WITCO
CHEMICAL CORPORATION AND ROBERT L. FELDMAN IN
ANTI-TRUST LITIGATION AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A RELEASE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim:
SECTION l. That the settlement of the suit filed on
behalf of the City of Anaheim against Witco Chemical Corporation
and Robert L. Feldman in the State of California, et al.,
Plaintiffs v. Standard Oil Company of California, et al., Defend-
ants, Civil Action No. Sll07, as set forth in the Settlement
Agreement dated August 1 , 1972, entered into on behalf of the
City of Anaheim by its. counsel is hereby authorized, approved
and ratified.
SECTION 2. That Jack C. Dutton, Mayor, be and he is
hereby authorized to execute and deliver the Final Release
approved by its counsel (Exhibit C to the Settlement Agreement)
and cause the suit to be dismissed without prejudice, each
party to bear its own costs and attorneys' fees.
THIS RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
lSth day of August, 1972.
