RESOLUTION 4I` ''M BO'J"IRD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF

RR w0 Lti IM BY THE BOARD OF TRU S' E S OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
First, That the public interest and convenience of the
City of Anaheim demand that said City of .Anaheim sell and convey
unto 71illiam L. Waitman, of Anaheim, Orange County, California,
that certain real property belonging to the said City of Anaheim,
and situate, lying, and being in the City of Anaheim, Orange Coun-
ty, California, and described as follows, to- wit: The Easterly
forty (40) feet of the Westerly sixty (60) feet of Original Build-
ing Lot Fourteen (14) of the Town of Anaheim, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 4 of Deeds, at Pages 629 and 630, Records of Los
Angeles County, California, reserving therefrom the northerly ten
(10) feet for alley ` for the sum of Twenty -.two hundred
dollars 0 1 2200,00),
Second. That the President of the Board of Trustees of the
City of Anaheim, and the City Clerk of said city be, and they are
hereby authorized and directed as soon as this resolution
shall take effect, to execute and deliver unto said ;Villiam 1.
Waitman, a good and sufficient deed of grant, ;ranting and convey-
ing unto said William L. Waitman, all of the right, title, and
interest of the said City of Anaheim in and to said real property
hereinbefore described, upon the payment unto the said City of
.Anaheim, by the said William L. 71aitman, of the said sum of Twen-
ty -tyro hundred dollars (W2200.00 ).
And they are further authorized and directed to procure
forthwith, from an incorporated abstract and title company within
the County of Orange, an unlimited certificate of title, showing
the title to said premises to be vested in the said City of Ana-
heim, free and clear from all liens and encumbrances, except tax-
es for the fiscal year 1921-1922, and to deliver said certificate
of title to said William L. Vlaitman, together with said deed of
conveyance. - 1 -

Third. The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim shall certify
to the passage of this resolution, and cause the same to be pub-
lished once in the Anaheim Gazette, a newspaper of general circu-
lation, printed, published, and circulated in said city, and thir-
ty days from and after its final passage, it shall take effect and
be in fall force,
The foregoing resolution was passed. and adopted at a regular
adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City o;f Anaheim,
held on the 3rd day of October, 1921, and is signed, approved and
attested by me this 3rd day of October, 1921,
