RESOMUTION OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AN,JL
RESOLVE BY THE BOARD 02 THUSTZES OF TI-C CITY OF AINAHE11,1:
First. That the - oublic interest and. convenience require that
the City of Anaheim purchase - five-passenger touring-
car automobiles for use by said City of -Anaheim.
Second. That the following specifications be, and they are
hereby adopted by such- automobiles, and the same shall conform
strictly to such specifications. Suc7. specifications are as fol-
lows, to-',r"it:
Said automobiles shall be of the 5-passenger touring -car type,
and shall be new and of first class workmanship and condition.
Motor - Four-Cylinder. Cylinders cast en bloc. Bore, 3 3/4";
Stroke, 4 Horse- 20.
Transmission - Planetary type. 1,11 steel disc clutch
operating in oil.
Ignition 11agneto.
Ignition
Starter Electric starter.
Cooling Thermo- syphon water system.
Viheel Base - 100 inches.
7heel Equipment - Demountable rims, including 30 x 31 2 -- Non-Skid
tires all around, extra rim and tire carrier,
Shock Absorbers - Coil spring and lever action, springs of
bee-hive shave.
Speedometer - Eigh grade, standard make having trip and season
mileage and speed.
Dash Light - 6 volt light on instrument board.
Said automobile shall be delivered to the said City of Anaheim
within :/I days after the execution of the contract herein
after mentioned.
Third, The City Clerk shall be and he is hereby authorized

*,rd directed to publish in the Anaheim Gazette, a newspaper of
1 general circulation, printed, published, and circulated in the

2 : City of Anaheim, for two successive weeks, a notice inviting sealed
3 !proposals dr bids for the sale and delivery of such automobiles.
4 Said bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk of said
5 i city, lap to Thursday the 13th day of October, 1921, at the hour
6 1 of eight o P. I.I., and the Board of Trustees of the City of
7 Anaheim reseyvep the right to re any and all bi d s

9 I the City of naheim, certified by a responsible bank, in a sum
10 equal to not less than ten per cent (10,'0') of said bid, or by a
11 bond executed by two good and sufficient sureties, who shall
12 justify in double the amount of said bond, conditioned upon the
13 i execution of a contract and furnishing the bond required within
14 ten (10) days after the acceptance of such bid.

Fifth. 71ithin ten (10) days after the acceptance of his bid,

the
successful
bidder shall enter
into
a contract
with the City

of
Anaheim for
the furnishing of
said
automobiles
in accordance
18
with the foregoing s and shall,, within said time,
19 furnish to the City of Anaheim, a bond executed by two good and
20 sufficient sureties who shall justify in double the amount of
21 such bond, which bond shall be subject to the approval of the
22 1 Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, and shall be condition-
23 ed upon the faithful performance of said contract.
24 I The foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Board

of Trustees of the City of Inaheim, on the 6th day of September,
26 1921, and is signed, approved, and attested by me this 8th day
27 of September, 1921.
