Specifications for Electric Light Poles for The City of Anaheim
Poles t o be Western Red Cedar or Northern Whiter Cedar
Poles to be out from live timber.
Poles must- be ierd knots trimmed close, and tops and butts
sawed square.
No pole shall contain sap rot, holes Of pluged holeFs, or large
che •
Tops of poles must be free from rot.
Butt rot in center, including small ring rot, shall not ekceed
ten per cent of then area of the butt.
7 inch top poles to have a circumference of 22 inches.
8 inch top poles to have a circumference of 25 inches.
35 ft. poles to have a butt circumfance of 33 inches.
35 ft. poles not to have more than a 5 inch sweep between top
and butt of pole.
