72R-605 RESOLUTION NO. 72R- 605 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has elected to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941 in connection with a request for vacation and abandon- ment of an alley located at the north side of La Palma Avenue, approximately 180 feet, more or less, west of the centerline of Euclid Avenue, with the City retaining and reserving a 5-foot easement along the north line of said alley for public utility purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to vacate, abandon and close to public use said alley as it may relate to the following described property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, and State of California, to wit: That certain 17 foot wide alley lying between Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 in Tract No. 483, as shown on a map re- corded in Book 17, page 20, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County. Excepting therefrom the southerly 53 feet thereof as measured to the centerline of La Palma Avenue. Reserving therefrom an easement for public utility purposes over, under and across the northerly five feet of the alley above described. and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby declares that it intends to reserve a certain 5 foot public utility easement along the north line of said alley in connec- tion with the requested vacation and abandonment, details of which are on file in the Office of the City Clerk for further particulars. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear- ing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 16th day of Januarl ' 19 73 , at I; 30 0 I clock P.M. in the Council Chamber 1.n the City Hall--rn the City of Anaheim. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
