RESOLUTION NO. 72R- 580

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ~~AHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS fu~D CONDITIONS
OF AL'J AGREEMENT EMPLOYING BECHTEL POWER COR-
PORATION TO DESIGN A 220-KV SUBSTATION FOR
THE CITY OF N~AHEIM AL~D AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
N~D CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEr1ENT.
vffiEREAS, the City of Anaheim owns and operates an
electrical distribution system; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to build and construct a
220-KV substation at City's Lewis Substation from which it may
take power it purchases from the Southern California Edison
Company; and
WHEREAS, Bechtel Power Corporation has submitted a
proposal to design said substation under date of October 27,
1972, signed by Keith Fullenwider, executive engineer; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said proposal
are generally acceptable to City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an agreement
between the City of fulaheim and Bechtel Power Corporation to
design a 220-KV substation at Lewis Substation be, and the same
are, hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Hayor and City Clerk
are authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City
of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and pigned by
me this 5th day of December, 1972.
