A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE AN INTERIM REIMBURSEMENT
AGREEMENT WITH ORANGE UNIFI~D SCHOOL DISTRICT
AND CALPROP CORPORATION RELATING TO DRAINAGE
FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, in connection with the development of a school
site at or near the intersection of Santa Ana Canyon Road and
Imperial Highway, the Orange Unified School District will be
required to construct drainage facilities in excess of their own
needs; and
WHEREAS, Calprop Corporation will be required to con-
struct excess drainage facilities in connection with their develop-
ment within the same area; and
WHEREAS, the City is willing to enter into a Reimbursement
Agreement under and by virtue of the terms of which the School
District and Calprop Corporation will be reimbursedf~r such excess
costs when and if properties within the same drainage di*trict
develops; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that it is in the best inter-
ests of the City of Anaheim to encourage such Reimbursement Agree-
ments and to cooperate in the administration thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are
hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City
of Anaheim that certain Reimbursement Agreement relating to
development drainage facilities heretofore executed by Orange
Unified School District and Calprop Corporation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute in
connection with the foregoing Reimbursement Ag~eement a Memorandum
of Understanding dated October 31, 1972, acknowledging the amount
of advanced contribution for preliminary engineering studies made
by Calprop Corporation.
