A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT WITH SZABO FOOD SERVICE INC.
OF CALIFORNIA TO OPERATE CONCESSIONS AT ANAHEIM
CONVENTION CENTER AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, City owns and operates Anaheim Convention
Center; and
WHEREAS, conventions, trade shows, exhibitions, theatri-
cal performances, sports events, danoes and meetings of all
descriptions, as well as other activities are conducted in said
Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, City desires to make food, beverages and other
articles available to patrons of said Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, Szabo Food Service Inc. of C~lifornia desires
to provide such concession service; and
WHEREAS, City and Szabo Food Service Inc. of California
have heretofore entered into an agreement in 1967 whereby SZabo
Food Service Inc. of California operated concessions at said
Convention Center and said agreement has expired; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to execute a new agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an agreement
between the City of Anaheim and Szabo Food Service Inc. of
California dated October 1, 1972, be and the same are hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City
of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 21st day of November, 1972.
