A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF 1\NAHEIM AND
ORANGE COUNTY S1\NITATION DISTRICT NO.2, WAIV-
ING ANNEXATION FEES FOR ANAHEIM HILLS ANNEXA-
TION NO.1, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim by letter dated March 6,
1972, requested the annexation of 312.35 acres of land to Orange
County Sanitation District No. 2 in the vicinity of Anaheim Hills
Golf Course and Walnut Canyon Reservoir and requested waiver of
annexation fees for the area encompassed by said golf course and
reservoir; and
WHEREAS, on May 24, 1972, the Board of Directors of
the District approved said request, provided that the area of
approximately 4 acres comprising the clubhouse and parking lot
of Anaheim Hills Golf Course be subject to an annexation fee,
all contingent on execution of an agreement between District and
City providing that at such time as any of the remaining land
within said 312.35 acres requires sewer service, that portion
to be developed be subject to the then applicable District
annexation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an agreement
by and between the City of Anaheim and Orange Countr Sanitation
District No. 2 waiving fees applicable to Anaheim Hills Annexa-
tion No.1 be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the
City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 21st day of November, 1972.
