RESOLUTION NO. 72R- 551

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING CERTAIN UNCLAIMED PROPERTY
IS NEEDED FOR PUBLIC USE AND TRANSFERRING THE
SAME TO THE CITY PURCHASING DEPART~mNT.
MIEREAS, the City Purchasing Department of the City
of Anaheim has determined that the unclaimed property set forth
on Exhibit "A" attached to this resolution and held by the
Police Department of the City of Anaheim is needed for public
use; and
MIEREAS, in accordance with Section 1.12.070 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, such unclaimed property may be transferred
to the City Purchasing Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said unclaimed
property is needed for public use and that it is in the best
interests of the City to transfer the same to the City Purchasing
Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the property listed on Exhibit "A"
attached to this resolution be and the same is hereby declared
to be needed for public use and that the same be and is hereby
transferred to the City Purchasing Department in accordance
wi th the provisions of AnaheiI'l J'llunicipal Code 1.12.070 and
Section 2080.4 of the Civil Code of the State of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 21st day of November , 1972.
