A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF &~AliEIM LEVYING M~ ASSESS~mNT ON EACH LOT
AND PARCEL OF LAND CON'rAINED IN S'I'R,EET LIGH'l'-
ING ASSESSHENT DIS'fRICT 1972-1 FOR THE FIRST
CONTRACT YEAR, FOR THE AMOUNT ESTII~TED TO BE
NECESSARY TO IMPROVE THE STREET LIGHTING
SYSTEM FOR THE ENSUING CONTRACT YEAR. (Tract
No. 1959)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
established a street lighting assessment district designated
"Street Lighting Assessment District 72-1", and
WHEREAS, the report of the Superintendent of Streets
and the proposed assessment with regard to said street lighting
assessment district was confirmed by Resolution No. 72R-202
adopted May 23, 1972; and
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets has estimated
the amount necessary to improve the street lighting system for
the ensuing contract year, from July 1, 1973, to June 30, 1974,
to be $397.98.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
1. That the report of said Superintendent of Streets
as to the amount estimated to be necessary to improve the street
lighting system for the ensuing contract year, be, and the same
is hereby confirmed.
2. That the cost to each lot and parcel of land as
set forth in said report of the Superintendent of Streets is
ascertained and determined to be a correct cost and the assess-
ment levied against each lot and parcel of land for the first
contract year is levied against each such lot and parcel of
land as follows: The sum of $8.29 for each of the following
parcel numbers:

3. That all sums for the cost of maintenance or
improvement of the street lighting system for the ensuing con-
tract year, from July 1, 1973, to June 30, 1974, are hereby
declared to be a lien upon the property in "street Lighting
Assessment District 1972-1", and shall be collected with the
taxes on the said property.
4. That the Director of Finance of the City of
Anaheim be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to file
with the County Auditor of the County of Orange, on or before
August 10, 1973, a certified copy of this resolution and a
certified copy of the report of the Superintendent of Streets
hereby confirmed; and the County Auditor is authorized and
requested to enter each assessment in the county tax rolls opposite
the parcel of land, and add the amount of assessment to the next
regular tax bill levied against each of said parcels, for muni-
cipal Durposes.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 14th day of November, 1972.
