RESOLU'I'ION NO. 72R- 532
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIH ORDEIUNG 'l'HE VACATION AND ABANDON-
riliNT OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF REAL PROPERTY
HEREIN DESCRIBED.
WrlEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
on the 24th day of October, 1972, declare by Resolution No.
72R-496 its intention to vacate and abandon a certain portion of
real property hereinaf-ter described subject to the removal of
any existing drainage pipes and/or concrete drainage channel,
relating to said right of way, at no cost to the City of Anaheim,
and did set the 14th day of November, 1972, for a public hearing
thereon; and
WHEREAS, on said 14th day of November, 1972, at 1:30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chillill)er in the City Hall of the
City of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and
~IElillAS, the City Council finds from the evidence sub-
mitted at said public hearing that that portion of a former
A.."'1aheim Union Water Company rieJht of way lying south of La Palma
Avenue, east of Kraemer Boulevard, in the City of Anaheim, is
unnecessary for present or prospective public utility purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim:
1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publications
made as required by law.
2. That that portion of the real property toward which
a request for vacation and abandonment was directed
is not necessary for present or prospective public
utility purposes and does hereby order that said
portion, as herein set forth, be and it is hereby
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use, subject
to the condition hereinabove stated.
3. That said portion of real property herein ordered
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use is
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, and is more particularly des-
cribed as follows, to wit:

That portion of the 33 foot wide right of way for a pipe
line for conveyance of water for irrigation and the right
to perpetually maintain and operate said pipe line located
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, as described in decree recorded March 7, 1916, in
Book 281; page 126 of Deeds, records of said Orange County,
to be abandoned, described as:
That portion of said 33 foot wide right of way lying within
Lot 20, Block K of the Kraener Trac.t, as per map recorded
in Book 12, pages 87 and 88, Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, the centerline of said strip being described
as follows:

Beginning at a point on the easterly line of Lot 16,
Block K of said Kraemer Tract, said point being dis-
tant northerly 570 feet from the southeast corner of
said Lot: thence South 45-1/4 degrees West 2,975.0
feet to an intersection with the southerly line of
Lot 20, said point of intersection being the point
of terminus of the line herein described.
Excepting therefrom any portion thereof lying within
said Lot 16.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and
she is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal
of the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the
County Recorder of Orange County, California.
