SECTIO-N 4. The City Clerk of the City of abeim is hereby
directed to post c for five days, on or near the cham-
ber door of the 'Board of Trustees of said City of naheim a notice
of said work inviting sealed proposals or bids and a copy of speci-
fiea-tions 11o, 26 adopted by the Board of Trustees of the s;F,.id City
of jInaheim on the 28th day of July, 1921, he is also directed to,,

cause a copy of said notice to be published twice in the The
Anaheim Daily Herald, a daily newspaper of general circulation,i
printed, published and circulated in said city which said news-
paper is hereby designated for that purpose.
Said notice shall invite se proposals or bids for doing
the work ordered and shall refer to the specifications posted and!
on file, which said notice shall require all proposals or bids i
offered to be accompanied by a check payable to the City of Ana-
heim, certified by a responsible bank for an amount which shall
not be less than ten per cent of the aggregate of the proposal

or by a bond for the said amount so payable, signed by the bidder
and two sureties who shall justify before any officer competent
administer an oath, in double the said amount and over and above
all statutory exemptions. 1f,:
Thursday the 22nd day of December, 1921, is hereby designated
and fixed as the day on which, up to the hour of 8 o'clock P. 11.
the said proposals or bids shall be received and the said notices
shall so specify.
