ember I895, appointed as a comtnitee by the Board of Directors of
the Anaheim Union Water Company, to confer with the Board of Trus-
tess of the City of Anaheim., in regard to the use of the irrigation
ditches on Sycamore street, and on Olive street, in the City of
Anaheim with full power to act:
We do hereby on b®half of and for the said Anaheim Union
Mater _C_Qmpany request, that said Anaheim Union Water Company, be

permitted to use the ditch on Olive street between Santa Ana street
and Broadway str®et, and the ditch on Sycamore street between Bast
street and West street, for the purpose of running water through
the same;
We do hereby agree, on behalf of and for the said Anaheim

Union Water Company, that such use shall not in any manner inter- ,
fare, with or infringe upon any right the City of Anaheim may have
to have ttii].l control, possession, po.wsr and authority, of and
over said ditches, nor shall such nee, or any action that the

do Resolve as follows:
That permission be, and is hereby granted to the Anaheim
IInion Water Company, to run xater for irrigating purposes, through
the ditch on the west side of Olive street, betxeen Santa Ana
street, and Broadway streat~ and also that permission be, .and
is hereby granted to the Anaheim Union Water Company to run rater
for irrigating purposes throug2t the ditch on the north side of
Sycamore street betxeen Bast street and West street;
Such permission to rtxn rater through said ditches, shall
not in any manner interfere with or infringe upon any right the

City of Anaheim may have to have full control, possession, power
and authority, of and over said ditches, nor shall such use, or
any action that the Board of Trusteee~ of the City of Anaheim has j
taken in passing this resolution be construed in any way to be
a franchise in favor of the Anaheim Union Water Company for ar~y
~~ purpose whatever.
