franchise, and that said franchise is exposed for sale to
the highest bidder; and that on and after said date said
Board of Trustees of said City of Anarleim will grant said
franchise to the highest bi dder.

after the passage of the ordinance granting said franchise

shall be forfeited to said City, and said ~3oard of Trustees
may the,°eupon sel t the sane to the next highest bidder
without further adverb sament. All alecks deposited in
pursuance of this not ice by bidders who axe not successful
will be returned to the person depositing the same .
