Whereas, The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheirii,did
on the I3th,day of July I892, duly pass a resolution ordering
certain work to be done on Hermine Street,as follows to- wit: - - --
Ist,- That said Hermine Street in said City of Anaheim,from
the north line of Center Street,to the south line of Chartres
Street,te graded to the official grade,and graveled with good
gravel,the gravel to be four inches deep;
2nd, - That a .redwood curb be constructed along each line
of the roadway of said Hermine Street,from the north line of the
said Center Street,to the soL.th line of said Chartres Street,in
accordance with specifications for the con struc.tion,of redwood
curbs as contained in ordinance number 48;
3rd,- That a sidewalk eight feet wide be constructed along
each side of said street from the north side of Center Street,to
the south side of Chartres Street, said sidewalk to be covered
with gravel two inches deep; and
Whereas, Said resolution was published for tiro :lays in the
Anaheim Gazette a weekly newspaper printed and published in the
City of ',naheim County of Orange State of California, and
Whereas, A notice of said work inviting sealed proposals
or bids for doing the work described i said resolution and
referring to the specifications posted and on file. , was,published
for two ;lays in the said Anaheim Gazette, and,
Whereas, A notice of said work inviting sealed proposals
or bids for doing said work described in said resolution and re-
eitlner, as prescribe) by law, and for an arix)unt not less than ten
per cent of the aegrregate of the proposal; He is hereby directed
to post said notice with specifications of said work for five
.lays on or near the Council chamber door of the Board of Trustees
of the City of Anaheir3i.
