That he is a citizen of the United States,and at all the times
hereinafter mentioned was over the age of eighteen years;
That he is one of the proprietors of the Anaheim Gazette,a
weekly newspaper printed published and circulated weekly in the
City of Anaheim County of Orange State of California,
That the Resolution of which the annexed printed copy was
published for two days in said newspaper,towit on the I4th,day
of July I892 and on the 2Ist,day of July I892

Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Anaheim, Ordering certain work to be done on Hermine Street.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim do resolve
as follows:--- -
That,the public interest and convenience require the work,
herein described, and the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim,
hereby order$: the following street work to be done according; to
the specifications therefor adopted,or herein mentioned and as
contained in its resolution of intention,j�dopted by the Board of
Trustees of the City of Anaheim on the 25th,day of 14ay I892, as
follows, tow it:
Ist, - - -- That said Hermine Street in said City of Anaheim
from the north line of Center Street,to the south line of Chartres
Street be graded to the official grade,and graveled with good
gravel,the gravel to be four inches deep;
2nd, - - -- That a Redwood Curb be constructed along each line
of the road way of said Hermine Street,from the north line of said
Center Street,to the south line of the said Chartres Street,tn
accordance with specifications,for the construction of redwood
curbs,as contained in ordinance number 48
3rd, - - -- That a sidewalk,eight feet wide be constructed along
each side of said street,from the north side of Center Street,
to the south side of Chartres Street,said sidewalk to be covered
with gravel two inches deep;

fied cheek,or a bond,either,as prescribed by law,and for an amount
not less than ten per cent,of the aggregate of the proposal;
