A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM WAIVING NOTICE OF A SUBLEASE
AGREEMENT BY THE COUNTY OF ORANGE OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the County of Orange, Community Services Agency,
proposes to enter into a Sublease Agreement with the State of
California for the purpose of operating the Job Training
Partnership Act Program at 2450 E. Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 25351 requires the County
to notify the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, in writing, at
least sixty days prior to entering into such Sublease Agreement,
unless such notice is waived by resolution of the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, the County has requested that the City Council
waive such sixty-day notice requirement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the sixty-day notice required by Government
Code Section 25351 is hereby waived with respect to the
aforementioned Sublease Agreement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 21st da of March, 2000.
