RESOLUTION NO. 73R.1lliL
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE RULES, REGULATIONS
OR SPECIFICATIONS OF CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION
AND MAINTENANCE OF A CABLE TELEVISION SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 73R-209, the City Council
declared its intention to grant a franchise for the instal-
lation, operation and maintenance of a CATV System; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the public hearing required
by the Anaheim City Charter and said Resolution No. 73R-209,
the city of Anaheim has adopted Ordinance No. 3179 as amen-
ded, granting a CATV System Franchise to Theta Cable of
California; and
WHEREAS, as required by said Ordinance as amended,
granting said Franchise and City Charter of Anaheim, Theta
Cable of California has filed a written letter of acceptance
dated August 23, 1973; and
WHEREAS, Theta Cable of California has paid a non-
refundable application fee, posted a cash bond, deposited
certificates of insurance in the amounts and manner required,
and done all other things required of Theta Cable of
California by said Ordinance No. 3179 as amended; and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the City Council
desires to adopt the rules, regulations or specifications
of construction, operation and maintenance of a Cable
Television System for the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
that the rules, regulations or specifications of construction,
operation and maintenance of a Cable Television System on file
in the office of the City Clerk be, and the same are hereby
adopted and approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is here-
by ordered and directed to retain and maintain three copies
certified to be true copies of said rules, regulations or
specifications of construction, operation and maintenance of
a CATV System, and the City Clerk shall maintain a sufficient
supply of copies of said rules available for purchase by the
public.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 4th day of September , 1973.
