RESOLUTION NO. 73R- ~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF &~AHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN ENCROACHMENT PERMIT AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID ENCROACH-
MENT PERMIT WITH ANGELA M. AND JAMES M. PLOU.

~mEREAS, Angela M~ Plou and James M. Plou, Testa-
mentary Trustee of Henry M. Plou, hereinafter referred to as
Licensees, are the owners of property in the City of Anaheim
over which the City owns an easement for public utility
purposes; and
WHEREAS, Licensees wish to use a portion of said
easement for the installation of a 58 foot long brick planter
to encroach into a portion of dedicated right of way located
on the east side of Grand Avenue, north of Lincoln Avenue,
in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, unless Licensees are allowed to encroach
upon the easement of the City, an extreme and undue hardship
will be caused to them; and
WHEREAS, the proposed encroachment to allow the
installation of said brick planter across a portion of the
easement of City will not interfere with the present use of
the easement of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of a
license agreement between the City of Anaheim and Angela M,
Plou and James M. Plou, Testamentary Trustee of. Henry M. Plou
be, and the same are, hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute said license agreement on
behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and s~gned by
