RESOLUTION NO. 73R- 360

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
ATTORNEY TO REQUEST THE MUNICIPAL COURT TO
APPROVE A NEW BAIL SCHEDULE FOR ANAHEIM MUNI-
CIPAL CODE PARKING VIOLATIONS.
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police of the City of Anaheim has
conducted a survey of City bail schedules for parking violations
now in effect in the County of Orange; and
WHEREAS, an analysis of the City bail schedules now in
effect indicates that the City of Anaheim's bail schedule for
parking violations is considerably lower in scale than the bail
schedules in effect in other cities in this area; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
a revised bail schedule for parking violations submitted to the
Council by the Chief of Police would be in the best interest of
the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City Attorney be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to submit the said revised bail schedule
for parking violations to the Presiding JUdge of the Municipal
Court of the North Orange County Judicial District for the
Court's approval.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 21st day of August , 1973.
