A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF &~AHEIM APPROVING &~D AUTHORIZING THE EXE-
CUTION OF AN AGREEMENT TO AMEND THE MOTORCYCLE
TRAINING AGREE~mNT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND THE STATE OF CALIFOfu'UA, DEPARTMENT OF
CALIFORNIA HIGmqAY PATROL.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim entered into an agreement
on February 22, 1973, with the State of California, Department
of Highway Patrol, providing for Motorcycle Training classes for
Anaheim police officers at the California Highway Patrol Academy,
and
i~EREAS, the State of California, Deparbrrent of
California Highway Patrol, has submitted to the City a fona of
agreement entitled Amendment No. 1 to the Motorcycle Training
Agreement providing for certain changes in times for use of
Acad~ay facilities as set forth in Paragraph Four, Item 2 of
Page 1 of said Motorcycle Training Agreement; and
vnffiREAS, the City Council finds ~~at it would be for the
benefit and in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to enter
into said agreement to ~uend the Motorcycle Training Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said agreement to amend the Motorcycle
Training Agreement between the City of Anaheim and t~e State of
California, Department of Highway Patrol, upon the tel.'lUS and con~'
ditions set forth in said agreement be, and the same is hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that tl1e Mayor and the City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute saia agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and si<:med by me
this 21st day of Augus"t, 1973.
