RESOLUTION NO. 73R- 332
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZ ING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITIES OF ANAHEIM AND GARDEN GROVE IN CON-
NECTION WITH F:tRE PROTECTION AND RESCUE, AND
APPROVING.' THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THERKOF.
, ~REAS, the 'Cities 01; Anaheim and Garden Grove both
rnaintain and operate fire protection organizations in their
respective cities; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of said Cities to render aid,
each to the other, to combat the effect of fire when such aid is
necessary; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared to be made and
entered into between the Cities of Anaheim and Garden Grove upon
the terms and conditions therein set forth; an~ >, . ~.
WHEREAS, the City Council findstha'tsaid'Cl"g"1:'eement is
satisfactory and would be for the benefit and in the best interest
of the City, and should be approved. "
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City ofAnahedm that the terms and conditions of an agreement
between Anaheim and Garden Grove relating to emergency fire
alarms be, and the same are hereby, approved.' ;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said
agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
