RESOLUTION NO. 73R-322
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM A,PPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGR.EE.MENT TO EMPLOY MAYBELLE SPENCER AS
CITY TREASURER AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim requires the services of a
qualified temporary City Treasurer for a period of 30 days until
a per.mament appointment of a new City Treasurer is made; and
WHEREAS, MaybelleE. Spencer is qualified to provide
the specialized services required; and
WHEREAS, an agreernent has thi.s day been submitted to the
City Council authorizing the employment of Maybelle E. Spencer as
City Treasurer on a temporary basis in accordance with California
Government Code section 21153; and .
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the terms and
conditions of said agreement are satisfactory and ~at it would
be in the best interests of the City of Anaheim~o enter into said
agreement with Maybelle E. Spencer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they
are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 31st day of July, 1973.
