1973-257 RESOLUTION NO. 73R-2S7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NOo 1391 WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Ana.heim did receive a. request for a. Conditional Use Permit from The Islamic Society, owners, to establish a church with cultural and social activities on R-E zoned property, described as follows: That portion of Lot 1 of Tract No. 58, Peralta Hills Tract No.1, as shown on map recorded in Book 10, page 6 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, acquired by the State of California by Portion B of Parcel 1 of Final Order of Condemnation, S.C.C. No. 158978, recorded in Book 9154, Page 945 of Official Records in said Office. AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said request on April 30, 1973 ~ notices of which said public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and - WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, in- vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. PC 73-R2 ______ n~ny; ng Conditiona"l Use Permit No. 13ql . ; and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty-two (22) days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council protesting the action of the City Planning Commission in denvinq said Conditional Use Permit and said appeal was set for public hearing on -1- ,,~, of as of July 3 , 19 73 , at the City Hall, in the City Anaheim, and notices of such public hearing were duly given required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, that Conditional Use Permit No. 1391 should be denied.
