RESOLUTION NO. 73R-~~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXE-
CUTION OF AN AGREEMENT EMPLOYING D. M. BROWN,
ARCHITECT, A.I.A., TO RENDER ARCHITECTURAL
SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE REMODELING AND
ALTERATION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY HALL ANNEX.
WHEREAS, the City desires to remodel and alter the
Anaheim City Hall Annex; and
WHEREAS, the City is in need of architectural services
in connection with the design of said remodeling, alteration
and construction thereof; and
WHEREAS, D. M. Brown, Architect, is qualified to render
such architectural services to the City, including the general
administration and supervision of the construction work, and
desires to be employed for such purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to secure the services of
said architect for the preparation of plans, specifications and
supervision of construction for said Anaheim City Hall Annex; and
WHEREAS, a form of agreement has this day been submitted
to the City Council to be made and entered in~o by and between
D. M. Brown, Architect, A.I.A., and City of Anaheim providing
for the rendering of said architectural services upon the terms
and conditions and for the compensation therein set forth, which
agreement the City Council finds to be for the benefit and in the
best interests of the City and should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the agreement this day submitted to the
City Council to be made and entered into by and between the City
of Anaheim and D. M. Brown, Architect, A.I.A., providing for the
employment of said architect to render architectural services to
the City in connection with the remodeling and alteration of the
Anaheim City Hall Annex upon the terms and conditions and for the
compensation set forth in said agreement, be, and the same is,
hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 26th day of June, 1973.
