A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE l~YOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A LEASE (Former Montague
Property) .
WHEREAS, Wayne Fujimura has offered to lease certain
City property (formerly Montague property) being Juarez Park
at the west side of Sunkist, south of South Street for agricul-
tural purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said property will
not be developed as a park until at least June 15, 1975; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the City to lease said property for agricultural
purposes until such time as it can be developed as a park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City lease said property to Wayne
Fujimura from July 1, 1973, for a period of two years with an
option to renew thereafter on a year-to-year basis subject to the
consent of the City for a consideration of $125.00 peF acre per
year.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
on behalf of the City that certain lease between the City of
Anaheim and Wayne Fujimura.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 19th day of June, 1973.
