A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERHINING
THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE
GRANTED IN A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone
or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having
fixed a time and place for the holding of a public hearing
thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, and after having duly held and
conducted such public hearing to consider said proposed change
of zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports
from persons interested therein; and
~vHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its
opinions and reasons for recommending denial of said proposed
change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter men-
tioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon
fix the 22nd day of May, 19 73, and continued to
the 12th day of June, 19 73 , as the time and the
Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the
place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone or
zones and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided
in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said ?ublic
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or
zones in which it is now situated to a different zone, as herein-
after set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which
it is now incorporated and that a change of zone should not be
granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:

California, County of Orange, described as follows:

The East 225 feet, said 225 feet being measured from
the center of North Citron street of that portion of
Lot 39 of Anaheim Extension, City of Anaheim, as per
map of survey made by William Hamel and filed in the
office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California, a copy of which is shown in book 3,
pages 162, 163 and 164, entitled "Los Angeles County
Mapsll, on file in the office of the County Recorder of
Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 39, and
running thence Northwesterly along the Northeasterly
line of said lot, 97.8 feet to the Southeast corner
of the land described in the deed to L. Dale vilott
and wife, recorded June 18, 1947, in book 1529, page
320, Official Records, in the office of the County
Recorder of said Orange County; thence Southwesterly
along the Southeasterly line of said land, 594.84 feet
to the Southwest corner of said land; thence South-
easterly along the Southeasterly extension of the South-
westerly line of said land, 97.80 feet to the Southeast-
erly line of said Lot 39; thence Northeasterly along
the Southeasterly line of said lot, 594.87 feet to the
point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEP~FROM that portion included in the street
along the Northeasterly line, as shown on said map.
Remain in R-O, ONE FAMILY SUBURBN~ ZONE, in which it is now in-
corporated and that the reclassification to R-31 MULTIPLE FM1ILY
ZONE, reduced to R-2, MULTIPLE FAMILY ZONE at the request of the
applicant be denied as recommended by the Planning Commission.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 12th day of June, 1973.
