RESOLUTION NO. 73R-2lS
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT
NO. 127, EXHIBIT !lAll, OPEN SPACE AND CONSER-
VATION ELEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for said City; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public
hearing to consider an amendment to the General Plan by adding
thereto an Open Space and Conservation Element, and at said hearing
did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein;
and
WHEREAS, following said hearing, the Planning Commission
did duly adopt Resolution No. PC73-ll2, containing a report of its
findings, a summary of evidence presented at said hearing, and a
recommendation that said amendment to the General Plan designated
as Amendment No. 127, Exhibit "A", Open Space and Conservation
Element, be adopted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 5th day of June,
1973, as the time and the City Council Chamber in the City Hall
in the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon
said proposed Amendment No. 127, Exhibit "A", Open Space and Con-
servation Element to the General Plan, and did give notice thereof
in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing, and did give all persons interested therein an opportu-
nity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 127, Exhibit "A", Open Space and Conservation
Element to the General Plan, should be adopted as recomnlended by
the City Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 127, Exhibit !lA", Open
Space and Conservation Element be, and ti1e same is, hereby adopted
and approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the General Plan as adopted
by the City Council is hereby amended by adding thereto an Open
Space and Conservation Element as shown in Exhibit "A" on file in
the office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized
and directed to transmit a copy of this resolution and such
supporting documents as may be required by law to the agency of the
State of California authorized by law to receive same.
