A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT
NO. 126, EXHIBIT "All, HOUSING AND RESIDENTIAL
ELEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has, pursuant to the
reconunendations of the Planning Conunission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for said City; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public
hearing to consider an amendment to the General Plan by adding
thereto a Housing and Residential Element, and at said hearing
did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein;
and
WHEREAS, following said hearing, the Planning Conunission
did duly adopt Resolution No. PC73-lll, containing a report of
its findings, a sununary of evidence presented at said hearing,
and a reconunendation that said amendment to the General Plan
designated as Amendment No. 126, Exhibit "A", Housing and Residen-
tial Element, be adopted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 5th day of
June, 1973, as the time and the City Council Chamber in the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing
upon said proposed Amendment No. 126, Exhibit IIAn, Housing and
Residential Element, to the General Plan, and did give notice
thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportu-
nity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 126, Exhibit itA", Housing and Residential Element
to the General Plan, should be adopted as recommended by the City
Planning Conunission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 126, Exhibit IIAII, Housing
and Residential Element be, and the same is, hereby adopted and
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the General Plan as adopted
by the City Council is hereby amended by adding thereto a Housing
and Residential Element as shown in Exhibit "All on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized
and directed to transmit a copy of this resolution and such
supporting documents as may be required by law to the agency of the
State of California authorized by law to receive same.
