RESOLUTION NO. 73R-198
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
OF ANAHED1 OF THE TERRITORY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED
ANAHEIM HILLS NO. 8 ANijEXATION.
WHEREAS, said Local Agency Formation Commission author-
ized the City of Anaheim to annex said territory without notice
and hearing and without an election pursuant to the authority
vested in said Commission by Section 54797.1 of the Government
Code; and
WHEP~AS, said territory proposed to be annexed to said
City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange, State of
California, and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim, and is
uninhabited territory. That said consent contained a description
of said territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this
resolution described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
authorized to approve said annexation by resolution without
notice and hearing pursuant to the approval of said Local Agency
Formation Commission and Section 54797.1 of the Government Code.
NOv], THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim finds:
That the City of Anaheim submitted proof satisfactory
to the Local Agency Formation Commission that all of the owners
of land within the territory proposed to be annexed have given
their signed consent to such annexation. That said territory
proposed to be annexed to said City of Anaheim is situated in
the County of Orange, State of California, and is contiguous
to the City of Anaheim, and is uninhabited territory. That said
consent signed by all of the owners of land within the territory
proposed to be annexed contained a description of said territory
in words and figures as hereinafter in this resolution described.
That the City of Anaheim filed said request to annex
said territory, containing the specific boundaries of the terri-
tory to be annexed, with the Local Agency Formation Commission
and said Local Agency Formation Commission approved said annexa-
tion request of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section 54797.1
of the Government Code.
That on the 2S~h day of A~il , 19~, the Local
Agency Formation Commiss1on duly adopte Resolution No. 73-57 in
which said Commission authorized the City of Anaheim to annex said
territory in accordance with Section 54797.1 of the Government
Code and further approved such annexation of said territory with-
out notice or hearing.
That the Local Agency Formation Commission further
by resolution, authorized the City Council of the City of Anaheim
to annex said territory without notice or hearing by the City
Council and without the requirement that an election be held by
the City on the question of said annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the annexation of the
territory included within the boundaries of the
ANAHEIM HILLS NO. 8 ANNEXATION , more particularly
described as follows, to wit:

That parcel of land located in the County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:

Beginning at an angle point in the easterly line of the
Anaheim Hills No. 2 Annexation to the City of Anaheim,
certified by the Secretary of State September 30, 1971,
said point being at the northeasterly terminus of the
line described in said annexation as having a bearing
and a distance of S 240 34' 31" W, 404 feet, more or
less; thence leaving the easterly boundary line of said
Anaheim Hills No. 2 and following along a portion of
the southerly line of the land as shown on a Record of
Survey Map filed in Book 91, page 40, Record of Surveys,
in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange
County the following courses and distances: (1) N 560
07' 29" E, 267.03 feet; (2) S 290 44' 35" E, 86.69 feet
to an intersection with the Nohl Ranch Agricultural
Preserve boundary line described in document recorded
February 28, 1969 in Book 8888, page 880, Official
Records of said Orange County; thence leaving said
southerly line and following along a portion of said
Nohl Ranch Agricultural Preserve boundary, the following
courses and distances: (3) S 550 OS' 00" E, 1830 feet,
more or less; (4) E 2,450.00 feet; (5) S 370 45' 00" E,
910 feet, more or less; (6) N 890 10' 00" E, 530.00
feet; (7) S 230 15' 00" E, 176 feet, more or less, to
an intersection with the northerly boundary line estab-
lished by the Anaheim Hills No. 4 Annexation to the
City of Anaheim certified by the Secretary of State
February 16, 1972; thence (8) S 870 46' 27" W, 927 feet,
more or less, leaving said Nohl Ranch Agricultural
Preserve boundary line and following along a portion of
said northerly annexation boundary line to an intersection
with the northeasterly annexation boundary line of the
Walnut Canyon Reservoir Annexation to the City of Anaheim
certified by the Secretary of State December 16, 1965,
said point of intersection being a point in a non-tangent
curve concave southwesterly and having a radius of 780
feet, a radial line bearing N 250 00' 00" E passes through
said point; (9) thence Northwesterly leaving said northerly
annexation boundary line and following along a portion of the
northerly annexation boundary line of said Walnut Canyon
Reservoir along said curve through a central angle of 190
15' 00" an arc distance of 262.07 feet; thence (10) tangent
to said curve N 840 IS' 00" W, 367.00 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve concave northeasterly and having a
radius of 116.50 feet; thence (11) Westerly and North-
westerly along said curve through a central angle of 900
15' 00" an arc distance of 183.51 feet to the beginning
of a reverse curve concave southwesterly and having a
radius of 124 feet; thence (12) Northerly, Northwesterly,
Westerly and Southwesterly along said curve through a
central angle of 1370 10' 00" an arc distance of 296.86
feet; thence (13) tangent to the last mentioned curve S
480 50' 00" W, 413.00 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave northwesterly and having a radius of 270

tion boundary established by said Anaheim Hills No. 2
Annexation to the point of beginning.
is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to and
incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, and is hereby designated as the ANAHEIM HILLS NO. 8
ANNEXATION to the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date of
the adoption of this resolution and the filing of a certified
copy thereof with the Secretary of State of the State of
California, the annexation of the territory herein described shall
be deemed to be and shall be complete and thenceforth such
annexed territory shall be, to all intents and purposes, a part
of the City of Anaheirn, and from and after the effective date of
such annexation, all property therein shall be subject to taxation
equally with the property within the City of Anaheim and shall be
taxed to pay its proportionate share of the existing indebtedness
and liability of said City of Anaheim contracted prior to or
existing at the time of such annexation pursuant to the written
consent of the owners of property in said annexed territory filed
with the Clerk of the City of Anaheim prior to the adoption of
this resolution.
