A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIl'1 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
(SIGNALIZATION AT ANAHED'1 BLVD., ROMNEYA DR.,
RIVERSIDE FREEWAY WESTBOUND RAMPS, ORANGEFAIR
AVE., AND ORANGETHORPE AVE.)
WHEREAS, the State of California has submitted to
the City, District Agreement No. 2980 providing for the installa-
tion of traffic control signal systems, roadwork, channelization,
and safety lighting at the intersections of Anaheim Boulevard,
Romneya Drive, Riverside Freeway Westbound Ramps, Orangefair
Avenue and Orangethorpe Avenue with the State Highway Route 72
(Harbor Boulevard), upon the terms and conditions and for the
proportionate share of the costs therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and in the best interests of the City to enter into
said agreement with the State and that the same should be
approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said District Agreement No. 2980 sub-
mitted to the City by the State of California, Department of
Public Works, Division of Highways, providing for the installa-
tion of traffic control signal systems, roadwork, channelization,
and safety lighting at the intersections of Anaheim Boulevard,
Romneya Drive, Riverside Freeway Westbound Ramps, Orangefair
Avenue and Orangethorpe Avenue with the State Highway Route 72
(Harbor Boulevard), upon the terms and conditions and for the
proportionate share of the costs therein set forth be, and the
same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anahiem.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
