A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH THE
COMMUNITY CENTER AUTHORITY FOR THE PURCHASE
AND INSTALLATION OF CARPETING AT ANAHEIM
CONVENTION CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID FIRST AMENDMENT
TO .AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, CITY AND AUTHORITY have heretofore entered
into an Agreement on April 2, 1973; and
WHEREAS, AUTHORITY agreed to purchase and install
carpeting for and on behalf of the CITY in a portion of Anaheim
Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, AUTHORITY has taken bids from various bidders
to purchase and install said carpeting, and
WHEREAS, the cost for the purchase and installation of
said carpeting will be more than CITY had heretofore authorized
AUTHORITY to spend for the purchase and installation of said
carpeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of a First Amendment
to Agreement between the City of Anaheim and the Community
Center Authority pertaining to the purchase and installation
of carpeting in Anaheim Convention Center be, and the same are,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute said First Amendment to Agreement
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 24th day of April, 1973.
