A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND THE MEMBERS OF WEST ASSOCIATES RELATING
TO RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS OF WEST
ASSOCIATES, AND AUTHORIZING THE UTILITIES
DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is a member of West
Associates, an unincorporated association created pursuant
to the laws of the State of New Mexico; and
WHEREAS, the members of West Associates desire to
sponsor research and development work through contracts
entered into with entities that mayor may not be rnembers
of West Associates; and
WHEREAS, an unincorporated New Mexico association
does not have the power to enter into contracts in its behalf;
and
WHEREAS, the members of West Associates desire to
authorize the officers of West Associates to enter into cer-
tain research and development programs and contracts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
agreement relating to research and development programs of
West Associates be, and the same are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Utilities Director
of the City of Anaheim is authorized to execute said agreement
by and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
