A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR
HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service
Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, ArticleS of the
Government Code, in connection with a request for vacation and
abandonment of a public utility easement located approximately
at the southeast corner of Anaheim Boulevard and Lorraine
Drive, in the City of Anaheim, more fully hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it hereb~ declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to pub11c use that certain easement
located approximately at the southeast corner of Anaheim Boule-
vard and Lorraine Drive, in the City of Anaheim, for public
utility purposes, as it may relate to the following described
property:
That portion of an existing public utility easernent
located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be abandoned described as
follows;
The southerly 5 feet of Lot 2 in Tract No. 1379, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 43, pages 6 and 7,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Public
Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5
of the Government Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 22nd day of
January , 1974 , at 1:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council
Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the
Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published and circulated in said City of Anaheim. .
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 26th day of December, 1973.
